Russel Brand joins in with G20 protests .

As everyone world leaders are gathering to discuss the state of the economy right here in England. And with this inevitably there was protests and demonstrations. Yesterday hundreds of protesters demonstrated in London's Finical District, many of the protests were peaceful , some even humorous, but some did turn nasty.

Comedian Russel Brand was spotted joining in with the peaceful protests. He mingled with fellow protesters outside the Bank of Scotland for several hours . He also gave a passionate statement saying 'I hope today will send a message that things need to change,'
'I'm glad to be part of this and hope the leaders of the world are listening to us.
'I'm here to observe and participate peacefully in the protest. 'I always come to these kind of things, I'm very interested. There's a great sense of community.
'I am interested in learning and interested in why these people have come to this. I think it's also very beautiful.'

Russel has often been spotted at protests throughout the years. In the demonstrations in May 2001 he was arrested for getting his kit off and standing on car , this time though he stayed fully clothed !
